National Assembly of Quebec
The Parliament Building is located in Québec City, on Parliament Hill. It was designated a historic site by the Government of Québec in 1985. The Parliament Building is home to the National Assembly, meeting place of Québec's 125 elected representatives.
Constructed between 1877 and 1886, the Parliament Building features the Second Empire architectural style that was popular for prestigious buildings both in Europe (especially France where the style originated) and the United States during the latter 19th century. It is a national historical monument since 1984.
